Leveling Focus
You have to level the beserk affinity tree to max(5) and then focus all levels into vitality
Stat Focus
You should focus on luck and dextarity, surprisingly Having high strength doesn't effect the game as much as other builds, the beserk state give the player high damage and defense and that give the supplementary stats higher value to the run you are playing.
Item focus
Items such as death protection and weapons with lifesteal will be the major factors, that decide a run.
everything else is only situational.
