The Mage is one of the Classes you can play as in Vagante with focuses on combat Spells and elemental enchantments.

Affinities[edit | edit source]

Alchemy Icon New.png Alchemy
Level 1 Potion Knowledge All potions are identified.
Level 2 Chemical Transmutation Combine different potions to make a new potion.
Level 3 Alchemist Potions you drink have stronger effects.
Level 4 Exceed Occasionally quaff potions twice.
Spellcaster Icon New.png Spellcaster
Level 1 Recovery Spell cooldowns are reduced by 25%.
Level 2 Critical Magic Chance to deal critical spell damage.
Level 3 Resilience Spell casting cannot be interrupted.
Level 4 Spell Charge Enables complete movement control while casting a spell.
Enchant Icon New.png Enchant
Level 1 Novice Enchanter Bestow a spell's power unto the user by pressing Interact during a fully-concentrated spell cast.
Level 2 Elemental Adept Higher tier spells bestow greater enchantments. Additionally, gain the ability to wield 2 elemental enchantments.
Level 3 Rune Scribe Etch elemental runes upon your equipped weapon. Additionally, gain the ability to wield 3 elemental enchantments.
Permanently adds the element to the weapon's effects.
Rod Icon New.png Rod
Level 1 Rod Adept Increase rod recharge rate.
Level 2 Overcharge Charge rod cast to increase damage.
Level 3 Spell Syphon Rods will recharge from spell damage.
Level 4 Leech Cast Auto-cast rods if attack hits an enemy.
Level 5 Conductor Automatically cast your current spell after overcharging rod.

Enchant[edit | edit source]

The mages Enchant tree allows for self-casting of a spell to bestow its effects onto your body or weapon. The effect is unaffected by Intelligence.

Fire
Flame Pillar Short flame enchant. Hitting enemies will apply the burn status affect.
Fire Shield Medium flame enchant. Hitting enemies will apply the burn status effect.
Fireball Long flame enchant. Hitting enemies will apply the burn status effect.
Ice
Frost Nova Short ice enchant. Hitting enemies will apply the freeze the enemy temporarily.
There is no cooldown, however there is only a 50% chance of activation per hit.
Blue Flamebolt Medium ice enchant. Hitting enemies will apply the freeze the enemy temporarily.
There is no cooldown, however there is only a 50% chance of activation per hit.
Iceball Long ice enchant. Hitting enemies will apply the freeze the enemy temporarily.
There is no cooldown, however there is only a 50% chance of activation per hit.
Lightning
Eleclance Short lightning enchant. Hitting enemies will electrocute them for extra damage.
Will also cause electricty damage to all creatures (including you) in any body of water you are in.
Lightning Medium lightning enchant. Hitting enemies will electrocute them for extra damage.

Chain Lightning Long lightning enchant. Hitting enemies will electrocute them for extra damage.

No Element
Magic Missile +2 Strength
Spirits  ??? Defense.
Portal +1 Speed.
Blink +2 Speed.
Shockwave +3 Strength.
Evil Transformation No enchant. Inflicts self damage and spawns 3-4 spirits that home in and deal 10-15 damage each.

Magic Missile (Boomerang Only) Boomerang will always return to you.
