Artifacts are items with unique properties which can only be generated once per run.
Unique Artifacts
Unique Artifacts have fixed sprites and in some cases, special ways to obtain them.
Thunder God's Hammer
Attacking with the Thunder God's Hammer sometimes spawns lightning bolts similar to the Behemoth's.
Can be obtained by offering five different blunt weapons to The Smith.
(Valid blunt weapons are: Wooden Club, Hammer, Flanged Mace, War Hammer, Morning Star, Bludgeon and Spearheaded Baton)

Blink Dagger
Attacking with the Blink Dagger has a chance to randomly teleport the target.
Can be obtained by offering a Chaos Wand and any kind of dagger to The Deranged

Adherent's Ring of the Shackled
Grants vitality and faster attack speed based on how many cursed/god-cursed items you are wearing.
Can be created by giving three uncurse scrolls to The Shackled.
Ring of Seltioc
When a player wears the Ring, all players can locate monsters which are out of sight. These monsters will be colored red.
Ring of Zygox
When a player wears the Ring, health bars appear above every enemy within the player's field of vision.
Grappling Hook
This item cannot be equipped (therefore it cannot get cursed either), never grants bonuses and can be used as long as it is in the players' inventory.
Hold Up and press the ranged attack button to launch a chain and hook.
The hook attaches to walls and ceilings within a short distance.
Hold up and down to move up and down the chain. Hold left and right key to swing in a direction. Jump to cancel.

Heirloom Ring
Obtained by equipping the Mage-exclusive background, Heirloom. Grants +3 intelligence.
"Your grandfather gave you this ring before he passed away."
Stolen Ring
Obtained by equipping the Wanted background. Grants +3 luck and the Gold Collector effect as well as making all Shopkeeps hostile upon entering the Caves.
"You lifted this off of a sleazy merchant in Erifort."
Pet Whistle
Exclusive to Houndmaster. This item cannot be equipped nor can it be dropped from the inventory.
"Hold Up and Interact to use. Whistle once to summon your companion, twice to order them to wait."
Artifact Attributes
Artifact Attributes do not have fixed sprites and can only be randomly found on Equipment.
Explosion Master
This property can spawn on random gloves.
Doubles explosion damage to enemies, reduces explosion damage to yourself to 5
Spell cost reduction
This property can spawn on random headgear.
When wearing this item, there is a chance not to consume a spell charge when casting it.
Splash Attack
This property can spawn on random melee weapons.
When attacking with this item, a small fraction of the weapon's damage splashes over to enemies adjacent to the first enemies hit by the weapon.
Fire Jump
This property can spawn on random footgear.
Jumping with this item will shoot out a fireball that deals around 10 damage.
Keeper of Familiars
This property can spawn on random amulets.
This property allows you to have all of the three familiars at the same time.
Homing Arrows
This property can spawn on random bows.
Arrows shot by a bow with this property home in on the nearest enemy.
Force Shield
This property can spawn on random chest plates.
This property will surround the player with tiles that push away nearby projectiles and enemies.
Timing jumps allows for unlimited mid-air jumps
This property can spawn on random chest plates.
Just as the name suggests, you can infinitely jump mid-air if you properly time it.
It is advisable to also wear boots with the feather falling attribute so you can use this item without having to worry about mistiming your jumps.
Heal upon opening a chest
This property can spawn on random amulets and rings.
Opening a chest while wearing this item spawns 1-3 healing orbs.
Release spirits upon opening a chest
This property can spawn on random amulets and rings.
Opening a chest while wearing this item releases a few spirits that home in on enemies and damage them.
Bugs
The ring versions of the "Heal upon opening a chest" and "Release spirits upon opening a chest" artifacts are currently bugged.
